Resumo

This article presents a project that aims to develop an Android application based on the game Quest, which will include activities that contemplate the practice of the skills involved in learning a language. The project aims to build up facilitating strategies of English language teaching and learning, using activities that integrate new digital technologies to the implementation of these activities in English classes. These strategies start from aspects related to the social practice and contextualized experience of the users, who will firstly be students from the 6th to the 9th year of Elementary School. Thus, learning will be more focused on experiences that involve the discovery and exploitation of teaching material by the students themselves.
