Esta pesquisa objetivou identificar a forma de promover melhorias da estrutura organizacional da recepção da Pousada Parque das Gabirobas, localizada no Município de Roncador - PR, em específico levantar a estrutura tecnológica existente no setor de recepção (software e hardware), avaliar a percepção dos serviços do setor de recepção e identificar a estrutura física de recepção da Pousada. Como metodologia de pesquisa, foram utilizados levantamento da literatura sobre o surgimento histórico dos meios de hospedagens, os novos meios de hospedagem e turismo rural e técnica de observação participativa. Nos servimos de instrumentos de coleta de dados como questionários que foram aplicados aos hóspedes, e por fim, entrevista não estruturada aos responsáveis pelo objeto de estudo. A pesquisa deixa claro a real importância do bom atendimento e organização do setor de recepção.
