Abstract

This study departs from the verification that the management of cooperation is a significant lack in the studies of enterprise networks. The performance evaluation of enterprise networks is an aspect few explored and comprehended, given the characteristics and the complexity of those arrangements. This article shows a study whose objective was to identify relevant aspects which can compose a model for performance evaluation of enterprise networks. In depth interviews were carried out with academics, consultants, network managers and entrepreneurs that participate in networks. All were selected because of their potential to contribute to the study. We identified a set of dimensions for performance evaluation that highlight two units of analysis: the network in itself and the participant enterprises.

Graduação em Administração (2000) e Pós-Graduação Lato Sensu em Gestão Estratégica Empresarial (2002) pela Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC); Mestrado em Administração pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2005). Doutorado em Administração na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Professor da Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC) Tem interesse nos seguintes temas: redes de empresas, arranjos interorganizacionais, cooperação empresarial e competitividade.

possui doutorado em Engenharia pela UFRGS (1989) e pos-doutorado pela Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey (1993). Atualmente é professor associado da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, assessor ad-hoc do MEC, CAPES e CNPq, membro da Comissão Coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção, professor responsável pela área da Engenharia da Qualidade no programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção, coordenador do Laboratório de Otimização de Produtos e Processos do PPGEP/UFRGS, Vice-Coordenador do Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia de Produção da EE/UFRGS. Ex-presidente da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia de Produção em dois mandatos consecutivos 1998-2001. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia de Produção, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Engenharia da Qualidade, Confiabilidade e Métodos quantitativos aplicados à Engenharia de Produção
