Abstract

The infl uences of Grotowski’s thought on the Brazilian contemporary theatre and the phenomenon of group theatre, and the processes of actor training. The creation of alternative creative zones in the Brazilian context.

Author Biography

André Luiz Antunes Netto Carreira, UDESC

Graduado Licenciatura em Educação Artística (artes plásticas) pela Universidade de Brasília (1984) e doutor em Doutorado em Teatro pela Universidad de Buenos Aires (1994). Atualmente é professor da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, no Departamento de Artes Cênicas e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Teatro (Mestrado - Doutorado). Pesquisa com ênfase em Teatro de grupo e Teratro de Rua como prática de apropriação da silhueta da cidade. André Carreira também dirige o grupo teatral Experiência 2 de Florianópolis que desenvolve um trabalho centrado na noção de risco físico e na exploração de fronteiras no trabalho do ator.
