Abstract

This paper aims to capture the theme of childhood culture from the perspective of cinema, in order to understand the meanings and significances that mark this culture and its historical and social mediations.

Doutor e Mestre em Educação pela Faculdade de Educação da UFG. Graduação em Pedagogia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás. Professor do Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação da PUC Goiás. Diretor do Departamento de Educação da PUC Goiás. Atua na linha de Pesquisa Educação, Sociedade e Cultura e tem como objeto de estudo os processos educativos e culturais na infância e da criança em contextos da Educação Infantil e em outros espaços institucionais.
