This article discusses the results of a study relating to sustainability indicators in a university that is guided by a policy of environmental responsibility. The path to a sustainability policy, through environmental and social awareness and the participation of the agents, relates to the institutional strategic planning. It is worth highlighting the triad of environmental issues in education/ teaching, research and the transfer of knowledge, and campus management, with routines that guide growth in the area of care of the environment. Another typology emphasizes the burning need today to incorporate a sustainability project: energy, water, waste and mobility. The multiple demands on the academic space evoke concurrent themes, a phenomenon that involves conflicts to cause socially environmental sustainability to be perceived as relevant.Downloads
