Pesquisa Qualitativa: superando tecnicismos e falsos dualismos

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é atualizar o debate em torno da pesquisa qualitativa, destacando duas falsas compreensões: a) como uma técnica de tratamento de dados e b) como diferenciadora de uma abordagem que trata fontes vivas e atreladas a matrizes etnográficas ou fenomenológicas, opostas aos reducionismos quantitativos das concepções positivistas de ciência.
