TEACHING AND LEARNING: TEACHING AND LEARNING: a power relationship between teacher and student
Keywords:
Teaching and Learning, Power, Control.Abstract
This article investigates the power relationship between the teacher and the student, considering that in every relationship there is an established power which will determine the quality of this relationship, its failures and weakness, the forms in which the power is concretized - in the power of awareness, of language, of control, perceiving its influence in the learning of the adult student. In the teacher-student relationship, no absolute truths exist. The relationship can be said to be true when there is recognition of the limits, possibilities and different discursive forms, where the truth lies in the intention and concept of each of the participants.Downloads
