UN ANÁLISIS COMPARATIVO DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DEL TURISMO RURAL EN BRASILY EN ESPAÑA

Rural Tourism is a very recent activity in the national and international institutions. It began with the objective of dynamic the rural activities, don´t restrictive only to the agricultural activities, but generating alternatives of employment and income for the rural population. Today, the Rural Tourism haven´t only with the objective the economic rentable, but also the environment and cultural inheritance’s conservation and social development in the region where it happen. Nowadays has many programs that encourage and subsidize this activity, much in national (Brazil and Spain) as international (Europe Community) aspects. In this article we give a historical report of Rural Tourism in both countries and then describes how this activity is organized for the national and regional institutions, in other words, what are the institutions responsible for this activity in Brazil and Spain, what the structures of these institutions, how classify, management and supervise the activity of Rural Tourism, among other aspects. Finally, the article ends with a comparison between the organization of Rural Tourism in Brazil and Spain based on information collected.
