Scientific production in tourism in brazil and its reflection in the publications

Abstract

Scientific production in the area of tourism in Brazil is still small, despite the fact that many books have been published on the theme. This article discusses, primarily, the concepts of science, as a background to the difficulty of identifying the schools of thought or epistemological trends among tourism researchers in this country.
