The tourism potential of the municipal district of Botuverá - SC: an analysis of the urban infrastructure and the landscape

Tourism activities have been developing at a startling pace in recent years: people are becoming more interested in leisure, visiting or assimilating different cultures and places, and searching for a better quality of life. The objective of this study was to identify and describe the occupation of spaces for tourism in the municipal district of Botuverá - SC, particularly in terms of the infrastructure, basic sanitation, electricity supply, socio-economic aspects and landscape in the municipal district. In addition to the study of various ways of generating benefits for the communities that sustain the urban life of the town in question, other aspects were also studied, such as aspects relating to the Parque Municipal Grutas de Botuverá (Botuverá Caves Municipal Park), and the basic characteristics of the caves; for this purpose, visits were carried out, as well as photographic research on tables and maps. The results of the analysis enabled the identification of a varied flora and fauna, verdant meadows and pastures, and crystal-clear waters that turn water mills, all of which make the scenery one of the prettiest tourism attractions in Santa Catarina Key words: Landscape; Infrastructure; Tourism; Botuverá/SC.Downloads
