This paper aims to investigate the existence of hospitality practices on the employment of people with impairments on a hotel based on Rio de Janeiro. Also, its goal is to check if those practices can be regarded as inclusive. On April, 2015, an exploratory and qualitative research was driven. This research focused primarily on its Human Resources sector and its disabled employees. The analysis of the interviews led to three categories being identified: exclusive insertion, Human Resources sector fragilities and subtle prejudices. It was concluded that the company practices more the insertion than the proper inclusion of the employees with impairments. Also, it's clear that the company still needs to improve its hospitality practices processes because the prejudices are clear, even if subtle. It also lacks the comprehension of the great potential that people with impairments have, being able to significantly contribute to the business success.Downloads
