Abstract

The article discusses the Integral Education Program of the State of São Paulo, and educational management. It presents the basic pillars of full-time education, and analyzes the implications of the corporate management model in schools. The objective is to present the concepts and practices of the proposals to extend school time, and to understand the issues involved in its implementation, its influences in the daily life of the school, and the demands directed at schools, especially the managers, to ensure that The Program Ension Integral (Full-Time Teaching Program) is put into place. This work is based on bibliographic and document research, and daily episodes of financial, physical resources, human resources, and time management. The documents that guide the Program advocate a human education, while the model of business management expects for results, and reaching goals, without offering any conditions or taking into account the reality school. This can cause psychological distress, illness, and even managers and teachers taking time off, or leaving the job altogether.
