Abstract

This article aims to analyze, based on an investigation of Kandinsky, how students in the fifth year of Elementary School, the Colégio de Aplicação of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) think about the body. For this, cartography was used as a research-intervention method, more specifically, a device workshop based on the studies of body movements of the expressionist dancer Gret Palucca. Based on this experience, some knowledge about the body came into evidence, such as proportion, and the debate about what constitutes a body.
