The object of the research is the emerging themes in studies of and in the
body on the Pedagogy course. Its research question is: what are the main demands of knowledge of future teachers in the field of body education? The article presents the results of an interpretation of data collected through student narratives from 2014 to 2020, within the scope of an undergraduate discipline. A total of 645 responses to the following question were analyzed: What is your greatest delight and your greatest disappointment in relation to the question of the body and movement throughout your school life? The results reveal that the debate about the body within the educational institution requires an interdisciplinary approach to the themes to be studied, taking into account the diversity of bodies that transit through the school and university spaces.
