REMOTE TEACHING IN THE MUNICIPAL NETWORK OF SANTO ANDRÉ: BETWEEN INTENTIONS AND REALITY

This article describes and discusses the strategies adopted by the municipal network of Santo André during the Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020. It analyzes the regulations issued by the Municipal Department of Education and problematizes the pedagogical guidelines for remote teaching in the face of real conditions of school units to guarantee the right of access to school and quality education. It highlights the contradictions between the stated purposes in the offi cial discourse and the real concern of Organs central bodies with the policies of results that contributed to the intensifi cation of the work of education professionals without, however, managing to mitigate the deepening of educational inequalities in the midst of the emergency context in which as a result of the pandemic.
