It assumes the inseparability of the cognitive and affective dimensions and their reciprocal influences on the teaching and learning processes. Experiences mobilize feelings and emotions that affect the ways of thinking and acting. We analyze what feelings, involved in the relationship with teaching and learning, can be apprehended in drawings produced by elementary school students. The method was based on documental analysis, carried out on one hundred drawings according to the place portrayed, the facial expressions, the proximity and the dialogues between the characters, providing clues about the quality of the learning experience recorded. The interactions between teachers and learners are sources of affection and influence the bonds that will be established between students and the objects of knowledge.
