ICT IN EDUCATION: A PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF the new knowledge in TEACHERS’ EDUCATION IN the STATE UNIVERSITIES of sergipe

Understanding teachers’ training in the use of ICT is the theme of this article. With the advent of contemporary society, different social fi elds have become transformed, resulting in a new economic, political, cultural and social-technical context. Correlated with the new professional profi les of this computerized society, it seeks to analyze the initial training of teachers in Sergipe in the use of ICT, based on a study of the curricula of the Pedagogy and Licentiate courses offered by the Universidade Federal de Sergipe and the Universidade Tiradentes. A study was carried out of the course curricula, one of the elements in the preliminary analysis of how many subjects related to new technologies in information and communication are offered at those institutions.Downloads
