This work is the result of study that focused on collaborative learning. The research took place at an educational institution of the public health system of Cuiabá. Based on refl ections on collaborative learning and information and communication technologies, this work seeks to analyze how schools appropriate these resources. The research uses a qualitative approach, with closed and open questionnaires, observation of a class of students in the 9th grade of primary education, and interviews with the school teachers surveyed. Analysis of the data showed that the subjects highlight the use of information and communication technology in the teaching practice and in the school, but do not show a deeper understanding of possibilities other than collaborative work, motivated by the integration that is made possible when using the computer laboratory. It is important to emphasize that rather than integration “via” the laboratory, the pedagogical proposal of the school was a key factor for student involvement in different activities involving the use of information technology and communication.Downloads
