This article analyzes the manufacturing pedagogy developed by flexible companies in the practical placement of students of a federal Professional Education institution. The qualitative research was developed based on interviews involving, from the institution, trainees, supervisors and the coordinator of the relationship between the school and business, and from the companies, internship supervisors. The results show that manufacturing pedagogy prioritizes the development of behavior compatible with the industrial process, implemented in real situations with proper production rhythms. The interns are involved in a process of relay/training earlier than the employees, often exposed to exploitation and harassment. In our conclusions, we stress the need for educational institutions to provide situations that place the manufacturing pedagogy in check mate, and view the internship as training under its responsibility, committed to humanitarian conducts.
